GOD’S PIT CREW AIDS OPERATION COMPASSION IN PHILIPPINES TYPHOON DISASTER
God’s Pit Crew will be partnering with our long standing ministry partner, Operation Compassion in their response to the horrific devastation in the Philippines.
Currently Operation Compassion is sending funds to one of their established partners in the Philippines. Those funds are being used to purchase relief supplies to meet the immediate needs for the victims of this tragedy.
Operation Compassion will also be sending containers of relief supplies to that region. God’s Pit Crew feels that our best course of action in our response is to help Operation Compassion with their relief efforts as they have contacts already established near the affected areas.
If you would like to help by making a monetary donation please visit our website at godspitcrew.org or mail checks made out to God’s Pit Crew to 2499 North Main Street, Danville, Virginia 24540. Make sure your donation is marked “Philippines Disaster”. All funds received for this purpose will be forwarded to Operation Compassion and will be used exclusively to aid the victims of this terrible disaster.

WE ARE RESPONDING NOW TO THE ILLINOIS TORNADO DISASTER:
Gods Pit Crew has responded to the Washington, Illinois disaster by immediately shipping two tractor trailer loads of supplies to that area. These trucks contained approx. 60 thousand pounds of water, food, paper products, blankets and other needed supplies. At the same time in our on going efforts to help those affected in the Philippines we have shipped 1584 blessing buckets out yesterday.
We have people on the ground as we speak assessing the damage in Illinoos to help us plan what our course of action will be in further assisting the tornado victims.
God’s Pit Crew is collecting Blessing Bucket content items at the WalMart in Bonsack today from 12 noon – 6pm.
Another collection site will be at the WalMart on Wards Road in Lynchburg Thursday from 12 noon until 6pm.
All items received are critical to help in our Illinois response as well as future disaster responses.
